Australian Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Arthur Spyrou, visits the two key philanthropic and non-profit organizations supported by The Hellenic Initiative Australia: Boroume and Emfasis. Both organizations are consistently and devotedly active in the field of social solidarity, collecting food from local farmers’ markets and distributing it to people experiencing homelessness and individuals with special needs. Through the Ambassador’s visit to these initiatives, the essential and ongoing humanitarian work carried out in Greece with the support of THI Australia is brought to light — work that strengthens social cohesion and offers hope, dignity, and tangible support to vulnerable communities.
