American Bean
Duration: 10’14’’
The story begins with a conference where a Russian archaeologist, obsessed with Native American history, passionately recounts the legend of the American Bean — a rare, almost mythical item said to carry the promise of unlimited success... or total destruction. On a trip to New York, the archaeologist gets closer than ever to the bean itself. Driven by ambition and desperation, she is ready to do anything to claim it. In a city built on hopes for a better life and false opportunities, the magic bean waits patiently — knowing that, in the end, it always finds its true owner. A sarcastic and colorful fable about ambition and the illusions of the American Dream, set against the vivid backdrop of New York City.
