A phone rings, disrupting the fragile balance between dream and reality. A man wakes up abruptly and sinks into a world that feels both familiar and uncanny at the same time. At a construction site in old Athens, beneath the worn parquet floor, he discovers a dusty phonebook. And there, hidden among unknown names, he finds his own name. Curiosity turns into fear. From a payphone, hesitantly, he calls himself, again and again, trapped in an endless loop. An allegory about the everyday life and anxiety of the modern individual in the age of mobile phones and constant social networking, captured on Super 8mm film.
